About Us

We love design. However, it’s the small details, exact logistics, and clear communication that create successful events. This is what we’re passionate about and are committed to delivering with each and every event we work on.

For fifteen years, the Cherry Blossom team has been mapping out logistics and styling events for our fabulous clients. Our team’s past positions in catering, venue management, corporate events, and hospitality have given us the tools to excel in our current roles as event designers. It’s an honor to be entrusted with our couples on one of the most exciting and extraordinary days of their lives. Our mission is to test the boundaries of what is possible, and bring your vision to life in a successful event from start to finish.

Best Advice:
Make sure you are clear on your priorities with your wedding. It can help you stay in budget while really enjoying the details that mean a lot to you!

Favorite Moment on the Wedding Day:
After the bridal party has gone down the aisle and I get to be part of a very special moment – whether it be with a bride and her father or a bride solo, it’s a quiet moment. Her life is about to change and it’s an overwhelming feeling to have been trusted with her day!

Senior Event Designer

Alison Golt

Favorite Past Job:
Wedding Specialist at the National Museum of Women in the Arts

Favorite Things:
Family, Camping, Thanksgiving Dinner, Fall Fashion, Tea

Best Advice:
Don’t dwell on the little things and just enjoy the time spent with your family, friends, and of course your new spouse!

Favorite Moment on Wedding Day:
The First Dance! Love seeing how nervous the couple is about making all the right moves and then they kill it on the dance floor! Love a good dip and kiss at the end too!

Event Designer

Jamie Weber

Graduated:
Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA

Favorite Past Job:
I’ve had a diverse background working in fashion, commercial real estate and in the charity world. My favorite job is this one!

Favorite Things:
Spending time with my twin boys and husband (we love family movie night) our dog Bentley, tennis/pickleball, traveling and being by the water

Best Advice:
Stop and enjoy the day, be present and soak in all the individual moments. It’s one of the only times you’ll have all your friends and family together to celebrate YOU!

Favorite Moment on Wedding Day:
When the music starts and the bridal party is lined up but hasn’t started moving yet. It’s that moment when it feels like everything has come together, all the hard work has come to fruition and the emotions come to a head. It’s such a special moment and I feel so fortunate to be a part of it!

Felicia Kettler

Favorite Past Job:
Event Coordinator for a non-profit with an amazing cause

Favorite Things:
My son, iced coffee, statement earrings, salsa dance, time at the beach

Best Advice:
Pause just before you head down the aisle and take it all in! You have been planning for months and the day can go by so fast, so enjoy every moment.

Favorite Moment on Wedding Day:
Right after the couple is joined at the ceremony. I feel so honored to be a part of their special day!
